Job Overview

The Construction BIM Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing the digital representation of construction projects, ensuring that all design and construction information is accurately modeled, coordinated, and communicated across multidisciplinary teams. Reporting to the Project Manager, the coordinator will oversee BIM execution plans, facilitate clash detection, and support the integration of 3D, 4D, and 5D models throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain project‑specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in collaboration with architects, engineers and contractors.
  • Coordinate 3D model integration, ensuring consistency across architectural, structural, MEP and civil disciplines.
  • Conduct regular clash detection workshops, generate reports, and drive resolution strategies with design and construction teams.
  • Manage the creation and updating of 4D (schedule) and 5D (cost) models to support project planning and cost control.
  • Provide BIM training and support to on‑site personnel, subcontractors and external consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with Bouygues Construction’s BIM standards, local regulations and international ISO 19650 guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office to align BIM deliverables with overall project milestones and client expectations.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Solibri and BIM 360 or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing and cost estimation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, especially in clash detection and resolution.
  • Effective communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary workshops and train diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on data integrity and model accuracy.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field is required. Advanced certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Manager or ISO 19650 lead auditor are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in BIM coordination or BIM management within large‑scale construction projects. Experience in the Tunisian construction market, familiarity with local building codes, and a proven track record of delivering BIM‑driven projects are essential.

Salary
