Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic Research and Development team in Ben Arous. We are actively hiring in Tunisia for this critical role. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software components in C/C++ for automotive electronic control units (ECUs).
- Configure AUTOSAR basic software modules and develop application-layer software.
- Perform software integration, debugging, and unit testing using hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems.
- Collaborate with systems and hardware engineers to define software requirements and architecture.
- Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE processes.
- Document software designs, test specifications, and release notes in accordance with quality guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in embedded C programming and microcontrollers architecture.
- Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and configuration tools (e.g., Vector DaVinci).
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles, configuration management (Git, SVN), and issue tracking (Jira).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and safety.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French.
Education
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a closely related technical field from an accredited institution.
Experience
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in embedded software development is required, preferably within the automotive industry or a highly regulated safety-critical sector.
