Job Overview
The Robotics Process Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement software robots that automate repetitive business processes for ABB’s clients in the region. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including process analysts, solution architects, and IT operations, to deliver scalable automation solutions that improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and define clear automation objectives.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create functional specifications, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support.
- Implement best practices for code quality, version control, and documentation.
- Participate in pilot projects, proof‑of‑concepts, and scalability assessments.
- Monitor performance metrics of automated processes and recommend continuous improvements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and scripting languages such as Python, VB.NET, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling and workflow design.
- Experience with API integration, web services, and database interaction.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Certifications in RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
Experience

Salary
