Job Overview

The Network Planning Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and implementing next‑generation mobile and fixed‑line networks for Huawei’s clients in Tunisia and the broader North African region. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed network design and capacity plans for 4G and 5G deployments, incorporating traffic forecasts, spectrum availability, and geographic constraints.
• Perform RF propagation analysis using industry‑standard tools such as Atoll, Planet, or iBwave to optimize site placement and antenna configurations.
• Collaborate with RF engineers, project managers, and local authorities to secure site approvals, permits, and infrastructure access.
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including network topology diagrams, bill of materials, and cost estimates.
• Lead network optimization initiatives post‑deployment, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommending corrective actions.
• Support tender preparation and bid responses by providing accurate technical proposals and cost models.
• Stay current with emerging telecom standards, technologies, and regulatory policies to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of LTE and 5G NR architecture, protocols, and planning methodologies.
• Proficiency with network planning software (e.g., Atoll, Planet, iBwave) and GIS tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑driven approach to decision making.
• Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English; French is a plus.

Education
