Job Overview

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high‑performance telecom infrastructure that supports Orange Tunisia’s expanding 5G and fiber networks. Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy LTE and 5G radio access network (RAN) equipment.
• Monitor network performance using OSS tools and proactively address anomalies.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for network outages and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with vendors to integrate new hardware and software solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation and schematics.
• Participate in capacity planning and network optimization initiatives.
• Support field teams during site installations and upgrades.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IP networking, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and QoS.
• Hands‑on experience with Ericsson, Nokia, or Huawei RAN platforms.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools such as NetAct, OSS, or similar.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset.
• Effective communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or vendor‑specific training are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in telecom network engineering, preferably within a carrier environment. Experience with 4G/5G rollout projects, network optimization, and troubleshooting complex multi‑vendor environments is essential.
