Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, QRA, SIL) for industrial facilities.
- Perform safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with national regulations and international standards.
- Develop comprehensive risk mitigation plans and emergency response procedures for clients.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to client management teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review design safety aspects of new projects.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP and HAZID.
- Familiarity with international safety standards including ISO 45001 and IEC 61511.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in risk modeling software and engineering simulation tools.
- Strong communication skills in French, Arabic, and English.
Education
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), or a closely related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial risk assessment, safety engineering, or technical auditing within the oil and gas, chemical, or heavy manufacturing sectors is required.
