Job Overview
The Network Planning Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and expanding Tunisie Telecom’s radio access and core network infrastructure across the Sidi Bouzid region and beyond. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including RF engineers, project managers, and field technicians, to ensure that network roll‑outs meet performance, coverage, and quality standards. The engineer will analyze traffic patterns, forecast demand, and develop strategic plans that align with the company’s 5G deployment roadmap and broader digital services portfolio. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive radio frequency (RF) planning and optimization for 4G/5G networks in the assigned region.

- Perform capacity forecasting and traffic analysis to anticipate future demand and recommend infrastructure upgrades.
- Collaborate with civil engineering and construction teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective deployment of new sites.
- Utilize planning tools such as Atoll, Planet, or Mentum to model coverage and capacity scenarios.
- Coordinate with vendor partners for equipment selection, testing, and acceptance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) post‑deployment and implement corrective actions to improve network quality.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with national telecom regulations and international standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge‑sharing workshops.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of LTE and 5G NR technologies, including radio planning concepts.
- Proficiency with network planning software (e.g., Atoll, Planet, Mentum).
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret large data sets and translate them into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Project management experience, including budgeting and timeline tracking.
- Familiarity with Tunisian telecom regulations and spectrum allocation.

- Fluency in French and Arabic; English proficiency is a plus.
Education
