We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Renewable Energy Policy Analyst to join our team in Sidi Bouzid, Tunisia. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and developing policies and strategies to promote the adoption of renewable energy technologies in Tunisia and other countries in the region.

Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Policy Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and developing policies and strategies to promote the adoption of renewable energy technologies in Tunisia and other countries in the region
  • Providing technical assistance to governments and other stakeholders to support the development and implementation of renewable energy policies and programs
  • Collaborating with other IRENA teams and stakeholders to develop and implement global and regional renewable energy policies and programs
  • Representing IRENA at international and regional meetings and events to promote the adoption of renewable energy technologies

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and strategies to promote the adoption of renewable energy technologies in Tunisia and other countries in the region
  • Provide technical assistance to governments and other stakeholders to support the development and implementation of renewable energy policies and programs
  • Collaborate with other IRENA teams and stakeholders to develop and implement global and regional renewable energy policies and programs
  • Represent IRENA at international and regional meetings and events to promote the adoption of renewable energy technologies

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Energy Policy, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in renewable energy policy, technology, or finance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds

Education

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Energy Policy, or related field from a recognized university.

Experience

The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in renewable energy policy, technology, or finance, with a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector and its challenges and opportunities.

Salary

The salary for this position is 3000-5000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
