Job Overview
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about drug safety and regulatory compliance. The Pharmacovigilance Specialist will monitor, evaluate, and report adverse drug reactions to ensure adherence to international safety standards. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding public health while supporting GSK’s commitment to innovation in Tunisia.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze adverse event reports from healthcare professionals, patients, and healthcare systems.
- Conduct safety data reviews and prepare comprehensive risk management reports.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Tunisian and EU pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Participate in the development of safety communication strategies for healthcare providers and patients.
- Maintain and update safety databases with accurate, real-time information.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in pharmacovigilance systems (e.g., Argus, MedWatch).
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting safety data trends.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines and Tunisian regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in English and Arabic preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field. Advanced certifications in pharmacovigilance (e.g., DPCP) are a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in Tunisia or North Africa is advantageous.
Salary
120,000 – 180,000 TND Annually, based on experience and qualifications.
