Job Overview

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and implementing production processes that meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for cost reduction, cycle‑time improvement, and waste minimization.
• Develop detailed process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures aligned with industry best practices.
• Lead pilot studies and scale‑up activities for new product introductions, ensuring smooth transition from prototype to full‑scale production.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors to specify, install, and commission advanced machinery and automation systems.
• Implement statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), yield, and defect rates, and generate regular performance reports for senior management.
• Support the quality assurance team in root‑cause analysis and corrective action planning for non‑conformities.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and Siemens’ internal policies.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with proficiency in data‑driven decision making.
• Hands‑on experience with CAD/CAM software, PLC programming, and industrial IoT platforms.
• In‑depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience
