Job Overview
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and implementing production processes that meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for cost reduction, cycle‑time improvement, and waste minimization.
- Develop detailed process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures aligned with industry best practices.
- Lead pilot studies and scale‑up activities for new product introductions, ensuring smooth transition from prototype to full‑scale production.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors to specify, install, and commission advanced machinery and automation systems.
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), yield, and defect rates, and generate regular performance reports for senior management.
- Support the quality assurance team in root‑cause analysis and corrective action planning for non‑conformities.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and Siemens’ internal policies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with proficiency in data‑driven decision making.
- Hands‑on experience with CAD/CAM software, PLC programming, and industrial IoT platforms.
- In‑depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English; Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of three to five years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive, aerospace, or heavy‑industry sectors. Experience with Siemens’ product lines or similar high‑tech manufacturing settings will be viewed favorably.
Salary
