Job Overview
The Digital Twin Implementation Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of digital twin solutions for manufacturing clients across North Africa. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to model physical assets, integrate IoT data streams, and create real‑time simulation environments that optimize production efficiency, reduce downtime, and enable predictive maintenance. This position reports to the Head of Engineering and collaborates with sales, project management, and customer support to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. The role offers a unique blend of technical challenge and strategic impact, aligning with the growing demand for smart manufacturing in Tunisia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure digital twin models using Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
- Integrate sensor data, PLC signals, and ERP information to create real‑time, bi‑directional data flows.
- Collaborate with client engineering teams to define requirements, validate models, and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Conduct performance testing, validation, and optimization of digital twin simulations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to client staff on digital twin usage and best practices.
- Document solution architecture, configuration settings, and maintenance procedures.
- Support post‑implementation monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, CAD, and simulation tools (e.g., CATIA, SIMULIA).
- Strong understanding of IoT protocols, data integration, and cloud platforms.
- Programming experience in Python, C++, or Java for data processing and automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
- Project management experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital manufacturing, IoT, or PLM are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants must have 5‑7 years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing digital twin or PLM solutions in a manufacturing environment. Prior exposure to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, industrial automation, or smart factory initiatives will be strongly favored.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 3,500 to 5,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and performance. Additional performance‑based bonuses and benefits are included as part of the total rewards package.
