Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our growing Security Operations Center in Hammamet. This role is central to our mission of preemptively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats targeting our clients and infrastructure across Tunisia and the wider region. You will be responsible for monitoring the global threat landscape, analyzing adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and producing actionable intelligence to fortify our defensive strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze threat data from open-source, commercial, and internal sources to identify emerging cyber threats relevant to the Tunisian and North African digital landscape.
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports, briefings, and indicators of compromise (IOCs) for dissemination to SOC teams, clients, and management.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of malware, phishing campaigns, and advanced persistent threats (APTs) to understand adversary capabilities and intent.
- Collaborate with incident response and vulnerability management teams to provide contextual intelligence during security incidents.
- Monitor dark web forums, social media, and other channels for threats targeting specific industries or organizations within our portfolio.
- Assist in the development and tuning of security detection rules and SIEM use cases based on threat intelligence findings.
- Present threat intelligence assessments to technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining risk and recommended countermeasures.
- Contribute to the development of predictive threat models and risk assessments for client environments.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of cyber threat intelligence lifecycle and frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain).
- Proficiency in analyzing network traffic, logs, and malware using tools like Wireshark, Splunk, or similar platforms.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Excellent analytical, research, and written communication skills for producing clear and concise intelligence reports.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation of intelligence collection and analysis tasks.
- Familiarity with current cybercriminal tactics, geopolitical cyber events, and regional threat actors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global, 24/7 security operations team.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required. Relevant industry certifications such as GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), or similar are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage for candidates applying for this Employment in Tunisia.
Experience
A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a cybersecurity role, with at least 2 years focused specifically on threat intelligence, malware analysis, or security operations. Proven experience in a SOC environment, conducting threat hunting or intelligence analysis for a multinational organization is preferred.
