Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) in Tunis. This role is critical to our mission of protecting sensitive data and maintaining the integrity of our clients’ digital environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats in real-time. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts from various sources including SIEM, IDS, and IPS systems.
- Perform real-time analysis of security events to identify potential breaches or unauthorized activities.
- Lead initial incident response procedures to contain and mitigate security threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing simulations.
- Document all security incidents and provide detailed post-mortem reports.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to implement security patches and updates.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and other networking protocols.
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools such as Splunk or IBM QRadar.
- Strong understanding of malware analysis and forensic investigation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
Education
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related engineering field is required. Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar cybersecurity role. Proven experience in incident response and threat hunting is essential for success in this position.
Salary
The offered salary for this position ranges from 2500 SSP to 4500 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience, technical expertise, and performance during the interview process.
