Job Overview

Cevital Tunisia is seeking a dynamic Agribusiness Development Manager to lead strategic initiatives in expanding sustainable agricultural projects across the Sousse region. This role will focus on optimizing production processes, fostering collaboration with local farmers, and integrating eco-friendly practices to enhance productivity and market competitiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement agribusiness strategies to improve crop yield, resource efficiency, and market access for local farmers.
• Collaborate with agricultural cooperatives, government agencies, and NGOs to promote sustainable farming practices.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new agribusiness ventures, including irrigation systems, organic farming, and value-added product development.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for product diversification and export growth.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and Cevital’s sustainability standards across all operations.
• Provide training and technical support to farmers on modern agricultural techniques and digital tools.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in agribusiness management, with a focus on sustainable development.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination.
• Knowledge of Tunisian agricultural policies and international food safety standards.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, GIS) and agricultural software platforms.
• Fluency in Arabic and French, with English as an asset.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Master’s Degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Crop Advisor) preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in agricultural development, preferably in a managerial or consulting role.

Salary
