Job Overview
The Aerospace Systems Integration Engineer will lead the design, integration, and validation of complex aerospace subsystems for both commercial and defense platforms. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the engineer ensures that all components meet stringent performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop integration plans for avionics, propulsion, and structural subsystems.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
- Perform system-level testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting to resolve integration issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including interface control documents, test reports, and compliance matrices.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to manage technical interfaces and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with international aerospace standards such as DO‑178C, AS9100, and MIL‑STD‑1553.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of aerospace system architecture and integration methodologies.
- Proficiency in modelling tools (MATLAB/Simulink, SysML) and CAD software.
- Experience with hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) and software‑in‑the‑loop (SIL) testing.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills in English; French is a plus.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are advantageous and may be considered for higher responsibility levels.
Experience
Candidates must have at least five years of hands‑on experience in aerospace systems integration, preferably within a multinational environment. Experience with defense or commercial aircraft programs is highly valued.
