Job Overview

This role is ideal for a forward-thinking professional passionate about merging construction expertise with environmental stewardship. The Sustainable Construction Project Manager will lead initiatives to design, develop, and execute green building projects in Kairouan, ensuring compliance with sustainability benchmarks while maintaining cost and timeline efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of sustainable construction projects.
  • Integrate green building technologies and materials into project designs.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and environmental consultants to meet LEED/BREEAM certification goals.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to safety and sustainability protocols.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in construction project management with a focus on sustainability.
  • Proficiency in green building software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and energy-efficient construction practices.
  • Excellent leadership and cross-functional team coordination skills.
  • Fluency in French and Arabic preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in LEED AP or Green Building Specialist are a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in construction project management, with at least 2 years dedicated to sustainable or green building projects. Experience in Tunisia or North Africa is advantageous.

Salary

1,200 – 1,800 Tunisian Dinar (SSP) per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
