Job Overview

This role is part of Lenzing Tunisia’s expansion into Kef’s emerging textile sector. The Textile Process Engineer will lead process optimization initiatives, ensuring production efficiency and product quality while adhering to international standards. The position offers opportunities to work with state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to sustainable manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee textile production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase output, and lower production costs.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new technologies into existing production lines.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in textile engineering.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in textile manufacturing processes, including spinning, weaving, or finishing.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting production issues and optimizing workflows.
  • Familiarity with quality control systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and environmental management standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
  • Proficiency in using process simulation software (e.g., CAD/CAM tools for textiles).
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration and technical reporting.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in textile manufacturing, preferably in roles involving process engineering or production management. Experience in sustainable textile practices is highly desirable.

Salary

1,200,000 – 1,600,000 TND/year, depending on experience and qualifications.
