Job Overview
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about renewable energy and sustainability. The Sustainable Energy Project Coordinator will lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor renewable energy initiatives in Tunisia. The position requires collaboration with government agencies, local communities, and international partners to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning, execution, and evaluation of solar and wind energy projects in Kairouan.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to secure permits, conduct site assessments, and resolve technical challenges.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies aligned with sustainability goals.
- Monitor project performance metrics and prepare detailed progress reports for senior management.
- Implement community engagement programs to promote renewable energy adoption and address local concerns.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in renewable energy project management with a focus on solar or wind energy.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating technical data and environmental impact assessments.
- Excellent communication abilities to liaise with government officials, engineers, and community representatives.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and sustainability reporting tools.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred for cross-cultural collaboration.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development or Project Management is a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in renewable energy project coordination, preferably in Tunisia or North Africa. Experience with international sustainability certifications (e.g., ISO 14001) is advantageous.
Salary
120,000 – 160,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and project impact.
