Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Project Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in evaluating, structuring, and monitoring financing solutions for solar, wind, and hybrid projects throughout Tunisia and North Africa. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models for renewable energy projects, including cash flow forecasts, IRR, NPV, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on project sponsors, technology providers, and off-takers to assess creditworthiness and contractual risks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to align financial assumptions with technical specifications and market conditions.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, pitch decks, and financing proposals for internal stakeholders and external investors.
  • Monitor project performance post‑financial close, tracking key financial metrics, covenant compliance, and variance analysis.
  • Support the negotiation of loan agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and other financing documents.
  • Stay updated on Tunisian renewable energy policies, incentive schemes, and market trends to inform financing strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and reporting to government agencies.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel or specialized software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and financing structures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail, high integrity, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or FRM are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or corporate finance, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Experience with structured finance, debt syndication, or public‑private partnerships (PPPs) will be viewed favorably.
