Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Hydropower Plant Operations Specialist to join our specialized operations team in Gabès. This role is critical to ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our hydroelectric assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring plant performance, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time plant performance data to optimize energy output and efficiency.
- Coordinate and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities for turbines, generators, and control systems.
- Analyze technical data to identify potential equipment failures before they occur.
- Ensure all operations comply with local Tunisian environmental laws and international safety standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement upgrades and technological improvements.
- Manage onsite technical documentation and operational logs accurately.

Education
A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a strong academic background in fluid mechanics and power systems.
Experience
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of large-scale hydroelectric plants or similar heavy industrial energy assets is required. Proven experience in troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems is essential.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4500 SSP to 6200 SSP, depending on experience and technical certifications. This package is competitive within the Tunisian energy sector.
