Job Overview
The Hardware Design Engineer will join the Hardware Development department to design, develop, and validate analog and mixed‑signal circuits for next‑generation semiconductor products. Key Responsibilities
- Design analog and mixed‑signal circuits using industry‑standard tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Graphics.
- Develop schematics, perform simulations, and create detailed design documentation.
- Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure design for manufacturability and compliance with design rules.
- Conduct prototype testing, debug hardware issues, and iterate designs based on test results.
- Support product qualification activities and contribute to failure analysis when required.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging semiconductor technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in analog circuit design, including amplifiers, filters, and data converters.
- Experience with SPICE simulation and verification methodologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English; French is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., IEEE) will be considered an advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in hardware design within the semiconductor industry or a comparable high‑tech environment. Prior involvement in full product development cycles is highly desirable.
Salary
