Job Overview
The Learning Experience Designer will lead the design, development, and implementation of engaging, learner‑centered digital courses and training modules for Pearson’s portfolio in Tunisia and the broader MENA region. This role requires a deep understanding of instructional design principles, proficiency with e‑learning authoring tools, and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, multimedia producers, and technology teams. The successful candidate will translate complex educational content into interactive experiences that drive measurable learning outcomes, supporting Pearson’s mission to empower learners across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze learning needs and define clear instructional objectives for a variety of audiences, including K‑12, higher education, and corporate learners.
- Design storyboards, course outlines, and assessment strategies that align with Pearson’s pedagogical standards and local curriculum requirements.
- Develop high‑quality e‑learning assets using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia, ensuring accessibility and mobile compatibility.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, translators, and graphic designers to produce culturally relevant content for the Tunisian market.
- Integrate multimedia elements—videos, simulations, interactive quizzes—to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Conduct pilot testing, gather feedback, and iterate on course designs to continuously improve learning effectiveness.
- Maintain project timelines, documentation, and version control within Pearson’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Monitor course performance metrics and generate reports that inform future design decisions.
Required Skills
- Strong command of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
- Proficiency with e‑learning authoring tools and LMS platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic, French, and English.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences.
- Project management skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to solve educational challenges.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as ATD’s CPLP or a master’s degree are considered a strong advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have 3–5 years of proven experience designing and delivering digital learning solutions, preferably within an international education organization or a corporate training environment. Experience working with Arabic‑speaking learners and familiarity with Tunisian educational standards will be highly valued.
Salary
Pearson offers a competitive salary range of 2,500 – 3,500 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The compensation package includes performance‑based bonuses and opportunities for professional growth.
