Job Overview
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about integrating technology into education to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. The Educational Technology Specialist will design, implement, and support digital learning platforms, train educators on EdTech tools, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop curriculum-aligned technological solutions. This position is part of Pearson’s global initiative to bridge the digital divide in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage educational technology platforms for K-12 and higher education institutions.
- Provide training and technical support to teachers and administrators on EdTech tools.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to align technology solutions with educational standards.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in digital learning infrastructure.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of EdTech implementations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in educational technology implementation.
- Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS) and digital content creation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in project management and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Knowledge of Tunisian education policies and digital literacy initiatives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s in Educational Technology is a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in educational technology, preferably in a multicultural or international setting.
Salary
120,000 – 150,000 SSP annually, based on experience and qualifications.
