Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Conservation Specialist to join our team in Djerba, Tunisia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our conservation efforts in the region. This will involve working closely with local stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and private sector partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital solutions to support conservation efforts in the region
  • Work closely with local stakeholders to identify and address conservation challenges
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform conservation decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement conservation strategies

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in conservation or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Education

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant field would be an asset.

Experience

The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in conservation or a related field. Experience working in a developing country or with international organizations would be an asset.

Salary

The salary for this position will be 5000-10000 SSP per month, depending on experience.
