Job Overview

The Cloud Security Engineer will design, implement, and manage security controls for Microsoft Azure services used by Tunisian clients. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud workloads, aligning with global compliance standards and local regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security solutions for Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS workloads.
  • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on cloud environments.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices in line with ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and lead remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and operations teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security staff.
  • Prepare detailed security reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud security trends, tools, and regulatory changes.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services (Azure AD, Sentinel, Security Center, Key Vault).
  • Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and identity management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, VPNs, and zero‑trust architectures.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI‑DSS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills in English and French; Arabic is a plus.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, or CCSP are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience securing cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and a proven track record of implementing security controls in enterprise environments. Experience in the Tunisian market or with regional regulatory requirements will be advantageous.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of 3000 to 5000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
