Job Overview
The Construction Quality Assurance Manager will lead the quality assurance program for STTP’s upcoming projects in Sfax, ensuring that all construction activities comply with national regulations, international standards, and client specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) plans aligned with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and testing to verify compliance with engineering drawings, material standards, and construction methods.
- Identify, document, and track non‑conformances, ensuring timely corrective actions and closure.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to enforce quality standards and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed QA records, reports, and documentation for client review and internal audits.
- Collaborate with the Safety Manager to integrate safety and quality protocols, minimizing risks on site.
- Provide training and mentorship to site personnel on quality procedures and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings, presenting QA status updates and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and local construction codes.
- Proficiency in QA software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills in Arabic, French, and English.
- Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. Candidates with a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants must have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in construction quality control or assurance, preferably on large‑scale infrastructure projects. Experience with public sector contracts and familiarity with Tunisian construction regulations are essential.
