Job Overview

Join SOGEFRI Tunisia as a Sustainable Urban Development Planner to lead the design and implementation of eco-conscious urban projects in Kairouan. This role requires expertise in zoning regulations, environmental impact assessments, and stakeholder collaboration to shape the future of sustainable cities in Tunisia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop urban planning strategies that integrate renewable energy, green spaces, and water conservation systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with municipal authorities to ensure compliance with zoning laws and sustainability standards.
  • Design 3D models and visualizations of proposed urban developments using CAD and GIS software.
  • Engage with local communities to gather feedback and address concerns during project planning phases.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in urban planning software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SketchUp).
  • Strong understanding of LEED certification processes and green building principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder meetings.
  • Experience in public-private partnership (PPP) project management.
  • Fluency in French and Arabic preferred.

Education

Salary

12,000 – 15,000 TND/month, depending on experience and qualifications.
