Job Overview
The Process Engineer will join the Manufacturing Engineering department, supporting the production of advanced semiconductor devices. This role involves optimizing process flows, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve yield and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes to increase yield and reduce cycle time.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with industry best practices.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis for process deviations and lead corrective actions.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors and internal R&D teams to qualify new technologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the production floor.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
- Experience with semiconductor equipment such as lithography, etching, and deposition tools.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt) are considered an advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in semiconductor process engineering or a comparable high‑tech manufacturing environment. Prior exposure to clean‑room protocols and quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is highly desirable.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 Tunisian Dinar (TND) per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based bonuses may be awarded annually.
