Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Urban Planner to join our team in Kairouan, Tunisia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of sustainable urban planning strategies and projects that promote the well-being of communities and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of sustainable urban planning strategies and projects that promote the well-being of communities and the environment.
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels, from local communities to government officials, to develop and implement urban planning projects.
  • Conduct urban design, transportation planning, and environmental impact assessments to inform urban planning decisions.
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote public participation in urban planning.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement urban planning projects.
  • Required Skills
  • Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable development and community engagement.
  • Strong background in urban design, transportation planning, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Education
