Job Overview
John Deere Tunisia is seeking a Precision Agriculture Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize smart farming solutions in Gabès. This role will focus on integrating IoT, AI, and geospatial technologies to improve crop yields, reduce resource consumption, and support data-informed decision-making for local and regional agricultural operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy precision agriculture systems using IoT sensors, drones, and satellite imagery.
- Analyze agricultural data to optimize irrigation, fertilization, and pest control strategies.
- Collaborate with farmers and agronomists to tailor solutions to local crop conditions.
- Develop and maintain software platforms for real-time farm monitoring and analytics.
- Conduct field trials to evaluate the performance of new technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in agricultural data analysis and GIS software.
- Experience with IoT device integration and cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong understanding of sustainable farming practices.

Education

Salary
