Job Overview
Action Against Hunger – West Africa Regional Office (WARO) is seeking a MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Technical Support Consultant to support the Confluences II Program (CPP II). Due to program finalization requirements, the organization is extending technical support for three additional months to ensure high-quality deliverables, strategic data analysis, and proper program closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in MEAL systems strengthening and implementation
- Lead the consolidation of multi-country program data across CPP II activities
- Support the preparation of final analytical reports, evaluations, and capitalization documents
- Assist in conducting the final program evaluation and performance assessment
- Ensure high-quality data analysis, reporting accuracy, and knowledge management
- Contribute to donor reporting and results communication strategies
- Facilitate learning processes and best practice documentation
- Support program teams in closing activities and final deliverables submission
Scope of Work
- Strengthen monitoring and evaluation frameworks
- Deliver strategic insights from program data
- Ensure alignment with donor requirements and NGO reporting standards
- Support cross-country coordination and data harmonization
- Contribute to program impact assessment and evidence-based reporting
Eligibility & Requirements
- Proven experience in MEAL, Monitoring & Evaluation, or Development Programs
- Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and program evaluation in NGOs
- Experience working on multi-country or regional humanitarian projects
- Knowledge of donor compliance, reporting frameworks, and accountability systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
- Fluency in French (mandatory); English proficiency is a plus
