Job Overview
The Infrastructure Development Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects in Kairouan, ensuring alignment with technical, budgetary, and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for shaping Tunisia’s infrastructure landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project compliance with technical specifications.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address operational challenges.
- Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, including project updates and risk assessments.
- Engage with local authorities and communities to secure permits and maintain positive relationships.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in infrastructure project coordination (3-5 years).
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD).
- Bilingual fluency in Arabic and French is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in infrastructure development, with a focus on large-scale construction projects. Experience in Tunisia or North Africa is advantageous.
Salary
1800 – 2500 Tunisian Dinar (SSP) per month, commensurate with experience.
