Key Duties and Responsibilities (JD)
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Responding promptly to requests from guests and other hotel departments.
- Filling housekeeping carts with required supplies and transporting them to assigned work areas.
- Entering guest rooms while following approved access procedures and confirming vacancy status before entry.
- Replacing guest amenities and replenishing room supplies.
- Removing dirty linens, towels, and replacing them with clean materials.
- Making beds and properly arranging room furnishings.
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms according to hygiene standards.
- Removing garbage, used linen, and room service materials from rooms.
- Checking appliances and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Straightening desks, furniture, and room items to maintain hotel presentation standards.
- Dusting, polishing, and removing stains from walls, furniture, and room surfaces.
- Vacuuming carpets and conducting floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
- Following all workplace health, safety, and hotel security procedures.
- Reporting hazards, injuries, maintenance concerns, or damaged items immediately.
- Participating in required workplace safety and housekeeping training programs.
- Safely storing cleaning products and flammable materials.
