Job Overview
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure services for enterprise clients in Tunisia and the broader region. You will work closely with solution architects, developers, and security teams to ensure high‑availability, performance, and compliance of cloud workloads. This position involves automating deployment pipelines, optimizing resource utilization, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. As a key member of the Sousse cloud team, you will also engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, provide guidance on best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Microsoft’s cloud offerings. Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure virtual networks, compute, storage, and security services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Azure Resource Manager templates, Terraform, or PowerShell.
- Monitor performance and reliability of cloud resources, implementing proactive remediation.
- Collaborate with solution architects to translate business requirements into scalable cloud architectures.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis for incidents and provide detailed post‑mortem reports.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and Microsoft security standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
- Participate in on‑call rotation to support critical production environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
- Stay updated on Azure innovations and recommend adoption of new services.
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services (VMs, AKS, Functions, Storage, Networking).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and DNS.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including identity management and RBAC.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills in English; French or Arabic is a plus.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise‑grade cloud environments, preferably within Azure. Demonstrated experience in large‑scale migrations, performance tuning, and security hardening is essential. Prior exposure to the Tunisian market or North African clients will be viewed favorably.
Salary
