Job Overview

This role is part of our mission to expand quality news coverage across Tunisia. The Broadcast Journalism and Media Production Specialist will lead live news production, manage multi-camera studio operations, and coordinate with field reporters to deliver timely, accurate, and engaging content. The position requires technical expertise in broadcast systems and a deep understanding of journalistic integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, produce, and execute live broadcast news segments
• Operate and maintain broadcast equipment including cameras, switchers, and audio systems
• Coordinate with reporters, anchors, and technical crews during live transmissions
• Edit and package news segments for digital and television platforms
• Ensure compliance with broadcast regulations and journalistic standards
• Develop on-air graphics and visual elements for news segments

Required Skills

• Proficiency in broadcast production software (e.g., vMix, Avid Media Composer)
• Strong understanding of newsroom operations and live broadcasting protocols
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities under pressure
• Experience with ENG (Electronic News Gathering) workflows
• Knowledge of social media content adaptation for news platforms
• Creative problem-solving in technical and editorial contexts

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Certifications in broadcast production or media management preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in broadcast media production environments
• Proven track record in live news production
• Experience working with international news standards

Salary
