Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager will lead Nestlé Tunisia’s quality systems, ensuring that all products meet the highest safety, regulatory, and consumer expectations. Reporting to the Regional Quality Director, the role involves overseeing the implementation of HACCP, ISO 22000, and internal audit programs, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with international standards.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are identified, tracked, and resolved promptly.
- Monitor critical control points across production lines, conducting risk assessments and root‑cause analyses.
- Collaborate with R&D to validate new product formulations and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide training and mentorship to quality technicians and cross‑functional teams on best practices and regulatory updates.
- Prepare detailed quality reports for senior management, highlighting trends, non‑conformities, and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with suppliers to assess raw material quality and enforce supplier qualification procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and other methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and local Tunisian food safety regulations.
- Proven experience in leading audit programs and managing corrective action plans.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Effective communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
- Leadership capabilities to inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
- Proficiency with quality management software and statistical analysis tools.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or HACCP Practitioner are highly desirable.
Experience
Applicants must have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the food and beverage sector, preferably in a multinational environment. Experience managing cross‑functional projects and leading audit teams is essential.
Salary
