Job Overview
The Vehicle Quality Assurance Lead will spearhead the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance processes for all vehicle models produced at the Sousse plant. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, the incumbent will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949. The role involves leading audits, driving corrective actions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the vehicle quality management system in alignment with ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring timely closure of non‑conformities.
- Coordinate root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) across production lines.
- Collaborate with design engineering to integrate quality considerations early in the product development cycle.
- Monitor key quality metrics (PPM, warranty claims, scrap rates) and generate regular performance reports for senior management.
- Train and mentor quality inspectors and cross‑functional teams on best practices and new procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency.
- Ensure supplier quality compliance through audits, scorecards, and corrective action plans.
Required Skills
- In‑depth knowledge of automotive quality standards (ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with proficiency in statistical tools (Minitab, SPC).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen improvement frameworks.
- Proficiency in quality management software (e.g., QMS, SAP QM).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production schedules.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in automotive quality assurance, preferably within a high‑volume manufacturing environment. Prior experience leading audit teams and managing CAPA processes is essential.
Salary
The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from 3000 to 5000 SSP, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
