Job Overview

The Crop Protection Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and optimizing integrated pest management strategies for Bayer’s portfolio of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides across the Nabeul region. This position involves close interaction with agronomists, sales teams, and local growers to ensure the effective and responsible use of Bayer products. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute field trials to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Bayer crop protection products under Tunisian agronomic conditions.
• Provide technical support and training to farmers, distributors, and sales representatives on best practices for product application.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret agronomic data to generate actionable insights that improve product performance and farmer profitability.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) principles and crop protection technologies.

• Fluency in Arabic and French; English proficiency is an advantage.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Plant Protection, Agronomy, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in pesticide management or sustainable agriculture are highly desirable and will be considered an asset.

Salary
