Job Overview
The Digital Forestry Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to improve forest management practices in Tunisia. This will involve working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to design and implement effective forest management plans. The successful candidate will have a strong background in forestry, experience with digital technologies, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to improve forest management practices in Tunisia
- Work closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to design and implement effective forest management plans
- Conduct field research and data collection to inform forest management decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders
- Provide training and capacity building to local communities and stakeholders on digital forestry management practices
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Forestry or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in forestry management
- Experience with digital technologies, including GIS, remote sensing, and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
Master’s degree in Forestry or related field from a recognized university.
