Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry and conservation efforts, including the use of GIS, remote sensing, and machine learning technologies.
  • Collaborate with WWF Tunisia’s forestry and conservation team to design and implement digital tools and platforms to support forest management and conservation efforts.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for digital innovation in forestry and conservation, and develop proposals for new projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities, to promote the use of digital technologies in forestry and conservation.

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital forestry or a related field, including experience with GIS, remote sensing, and machine learning technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement digital solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.

Education

Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field.

Experience

5-7 years of experience in digital forestry or a related field, including experience with GIS, remote sensing, and machine learning technologies.

Salary

3000-4500 SSP per month.
