Job Overview
This role involves conducting comprehensive environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for infrastructure, industrial, and development projects. The specialist will ensure compliance with national and international environmental regulations while promoting sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for proposed projects.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and project teams.
- Monitor environmental data and analyze potential risks.
- Develop mitigation strategies to minimize ecological harm.
Required Skills
- Expertise in environmental regulations and EIA methodologies.
- Proficiency in GIS, CAD, or environmental modeling software.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Problem-solving in complex environmental scenarios.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geography, or a related field. Advanced certifications in EIA or sustainability are preferred.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, preferably in infrastructure or industrial sectors. Prior project management experience is a plus.
Salary
120,000 – 150,000 Tunisian Dinar (SSP) annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
