Job Overview

Enel Green Power is seeking a highly skilled Solar Energy Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of photovoltaic (PV) systems in Gabès, Tunisia. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solar energy solutions, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and leveraging advanced technologies to maximize energy output. Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the installation of solar energy systems, including PV panels, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine optimal solar energy configurations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Monitor system performance using data analytics tools and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to national and international safety, environmental, and technical regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to local teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in solar energy system design and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software and energy modeling tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on renewable energy technologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Tunisian energy policies and grid integration standards.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy or Sustainable Technologies is preferred.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in solar energy engineering, with a focus on system design, installation, and optimization. Prior experience in project management or renewable energy consulting is advantageous.

Salary

120,000 – 150,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
