Job Overview

The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures that protect Orange Tunisia’s network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN solutions to safeguard network traffic.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor security alerts, analyze incidents, and coordinate response actions with the Incident Response Team.
• Collaborate with network engineers to integrate security controls into new infrastructure projects, including 5G and fiber deployments.
• Prepare detailed security reports and present findings to senior management.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices to continuously improve the security posture.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS) and security technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), SIEM platforms, and endpoint protection tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunications, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CCNP Security are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
