Job Overview

The Sustainability Strategy Analyst will support the development and execution of sustainability strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from multinational corporations to local enterprises. The analyst will conduct market research, perform carbon footprint assessments, and design actionable roadmaps that align with international ESG standards and local regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments, including carbon accounting, lifecycle analysis, and stakeholder mapping.
  • Develop strategic sustainability frameworks and implementation plans tailored to client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Analyze regulatory requirements and market trends to advise clients on compliance and competitive positioning.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and visualizations that communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—digital, technology, and operations—to integrate sustainability solutions into broader transformation initiatives.
  • Support business development activities by contributing to proposals, thought leadership pieces, and client workshops.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) and sustainability reporting standards.
  • Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees (MBA, Master’s in Sustainability) are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting, corporate ESG reporting, environmental management, or related fields. Experience working with multinational clients or within a consulting environment is preferred.

Salary
