Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct digital forensics investigations to recover and analyze data from devices, networks, and cloud environments.
  • Prepare detailed reports and expert testimony for legal proceedings related to cybercrime, fraud, or data breaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement security enhancements.
  • Utilize forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite) to extract, preserve, and analyze digital evidence.
  • Support incident response teams during cybersecurity breaches or regulatory audits.

Required Skills

  • Certifications in Digital Forensics (e.g., CFE, CHFI, or GIAC).
  • Proficiency in forensic software and hardware tools for data recovery and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Forensic Science, or related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in Cybersecurity are a plus.

Experience
